This is Arora&#8217;s 5th consecutive appearance on this list of Ethnic Minority-owned Businesses in Greater Philadelphia ranked by their previous year&#8217;s revenue, and our first time in the top spot.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is an amazing recognition of my family&#8217;s personal and professional journey in this industry and in US business,&#8221; says Manik K. Arora, President &amp; CEO. &#8220;We have grown considerably over the past 33 years as a minority and family-owned business and we have our sights set on the opportunities and innovations that will bring us continued growth in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Arora Engineers, Inc. was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aroraengineers.com\/company\/why-arora\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">founded in 1986<\/a> by Manik&#8217;s father, Manohar (Mike) Arora, MS, PE, shortly after immigrating to the United States. Mike\u2019s first office was in the family\u2019s basement and he initially only specialized in electrical engineering. Additional services were added quickly as we grew, including mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression, and security\/special systems engineering. Under Manik&#8217;s leadership, becoming President &amp; CEO in 2006, the company has expanded to 14 offices across the United States, over 200 employees, and three subsidiary companies, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aroraengineers.com\/expertise\/arora-systems-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arora Systems Group, LLC\u00ae<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aroraengineers.com\/expertise\/arora-technology-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arora Technology Group, LLC\u00ae<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aroraengineers.com\/expertise\/edi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Electronic Data, Inc.
