Jim Falvey, PE, Vice President and Client Account Manager<\/a> at Arora Engineers, advocated for engineering industry priorities on Capitol Hill as part of the 2025 ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit. He traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with members of Massachusetts\u2019 Congressional delegation. Alongside peers from the industry, he advocated for key issues impacting engineering firms nationwide, including federal infrastructure funding, tax legislation, and workforce development initiatives.<\/p>\n

As a leader at Arora, Jim plays a key role in managing client relationships and aligning infrastructure solutions with long-term strategic goals. His involvement in the summit underscores his dedication to both his clients and the broader future of the engineering industry.<\/p>\n

Jim was joined by Gerry Preble of Beals & Thomas and Matt Merli of Fitzemeyer & Tocci, reinforcing the importance of collaboration across firms to ensure the voice of the engineering industry is heard on Capitol Hill.<\/p>\n

\u201cAdvocating for our industry directly with lawmakers was a powerful reminder that policy and infrastructure go hand-in-hand,\u201d said Jim Falvey. \u201cIt\u2019s critical that we share the real-world impacts of legislation on our work, our workforce, and the communities we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n

ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit:<\/h2>\n

The ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit is primarily focused on federal advocacy for the engineering industry. Attendees meet with lawmakers to discuss key issues impacting engineering firms, including:<\/p>\n
