Arora Engineers (Arora) is proud to be ranked as one of the Top Five firms on the Philadelphia Business Journal\u2019s<\/em> Minority-owned Businesses list for 2023<\/a>, making Arora the overall largest minority-owned Architecture, Engineering (A\/E) firms in the Philadelphia Region! This is Arora\u2019s 9th consecutive appearance on this list of Ethnic Minority-owned Businesses in Greater Philadelphia ranked by their previous year\u2019s revenue.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1986 by Manohar (Mike) Arora, MS, PE<\/a>, shortly after immigrating to the United States, Arora initially only specialized in electrical engineering, and its first office was in the family\u2019s basement. As the business grew, additional services were added including mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression, and security\/special systems engineering. When Manik Arora, PE<\/a>, became President & CEO and assumed control of the firm from his father in 2006, his goal for the future was rapid growth on an international scale. Under Manik\u2019s leadership, Arora has strategically established branch offices in major cities across the globe.<\/p>\n
