• SEPTA Systemwide Improvements – Locations across Pennsylvania
  Our team supported a wide range of infrastructure and technology upgrades across multiple locations, including station modernization, passenger communications systems, and facility renovations. • In addition, Arora provided Electrical and Fire Life Safety & Fire Protection Engineering design services for the new Wissahickon Transportation Center, a $45 million facility that will serve as a key hub in the SEPTA network. Our team served as the Special Systems designer and construction administrator, responsible for structured cabling, wireless LAN extensions, IT room fit-outs, public address system expansion, and network connectivity for TSA security devices.

Jeremy Lynch, Special Systems Discipline Lead at Arora, led the design efforts, “Each building faced typical challenges related to scheduling and cost, but the most significant obstacle was the uncertainty surrounding the selection of the checkpoint screening lane equipment,” said Lynch. “To maintain the construction schedule, the project was designed to provide provisions that would allow either legacy or future technologies to be implemented with minimal disruption to the building systems.”

Thanks to close coordination among all project partners, the upgrades were completed on time, despite major hurricanes, and are already helping TPA accommodate growing passenger volumes with improved security and a refreshed terminal environment.

Since joining Arora Engineers, Vincent Ricevuto has brought strategic focus and discipline to the firm’s operational approach, especially in its work supporting large-scale federal infrastructure projects. His leadership has been pivotal in managing complex logistics, supporting multi-agency coordination, and strengthening Arora’s presence in high-need regions.

One standout example: Vincent helped lead the rapid deployment of engineers and inspectors at the start of the Chadds Ford Management Service Contract, showcasing his ability to coordinate large, fast-moving teams and deliver with precision.

Before joining Arora, he oversaw operations in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, contributing to post-hurricane recovery efforts and bringing valuable experience in complex field logistics and emergency response to his current role.

I had the privilege of working and producing the bid documents and saw the project all the way through project closeout and completion.
